Sempre più spesso riceviamo richieste di documentazione, da discendenti partiti nei secoli scorsi dal nostro paese, ed emigrati in giro per il mondo.In questa occasione dei primi giorni di aprile è giunto a Valstagna, con la giovane famiglia (ed una bimba di 4 anni) Dante Lazzarotto, nato a Santa Fè (Argentina), ma ora residente in Oklahoma (Usa) alla ricerca della casa natia dei propri nonni Lazzarotto, qui nati nel 1861.
Tra gli uffici comunali (con la pregevole opera del Mattana) e gli archivi della parrocchia, cerchiamo sempre di collaborare ed aiutare le loro ricerche illustrando la storia del ns. paese, consigliando libri, visite ai vari siti e fotografie dei tempi ormai andati, quando con la valigia di cartone, tanti nostri concittadini, han dovuto lasciare queste terre per trovare fortuna altrove.
